@momoichi the issue of prolife isnt that they are on their own once they are born. You are always on your own there is nothign stopping a parent who wanted you from leaving or potentially dying. Prolife is about being given a chance to live. Your rate of survival is 0 for a successful abortion. Let that sink in. Even orphans can grow up to live a fulfilling life.

I can understand the idea of taxing the rich more but in reality it is also supporting a lack of equality by such an idea because you're taxing someone not by the same amount as others but taxing them more because you can which is not treating everyone the same aka as an equal.

I dont necessarily agree with taxing the rich more. Because the government officials themselves ARE rich. Do you literally think those making all this money would just agree to tax themselves. They put loopholes in place so they can get away with it. Which then other rich people exploit. Such as donating to charity is a tax write off. Ok but what if the charity belongs to you? You just get that money back. Or like buying expensive art and stuff like that. Even if the rich are taxed they just trickle down to the poor because thats what these people do. They will somehow make it our problem.

I’m for taxing the rich more, equality and equity are very different, yet we can see that equity is what we should strive for. Charities are the direct evidence of a government’s failure. If you’re rich right now you can dodge all of the taxes, and hey the government will help you if you’re down with bailouts. Nobody needs more than a billion dollars, the excess of wealth could be better invested in our crumbling infrastructure, creating more jobs for people and stimulating the economy. But before we tax the rich more, we need to reallocate our funds, we spend money on some of the stupidest stuff. Just look at last year’s stimulus bill that the democrats put out, I’m so glad my tax dollars could go to gender studies in a foreign country and fish farming when we’re in the middle of a crisis. So actually for now till our money is used more responsibly I’m on your guy’s side… but if the money went to good programs to better people’s lives in America, then I’d have to say we need to tax them more.

I want our money to go back into infrastructure. I want our money to go back into communities, i want to stop seeing these run down buildings sitting for years and see more useful shit. I wanna see less crime rate, i wanna see less homelessness, i wanna see our tax payer dollars go toward nation building. America used to be a country full of entrepreneurs and of strength and stability. Rn i feel we are just on the cusp of being a third world country. I dont give a shit about gender studies. Like tf is a gender study? And why do we have to give billions of dollars to another country for that. I want more military power. And ik people will say "We SpEnD So MuCh AlrEadY" yeah you are right and its on dumb shit like the government does. Why are we leaving behind our equipment? Even if it was decades old. Why were we just sporting old equipment for our troops anyway? We need innovation we need stength. I sat and watched us give away millions to a contractor to renovate some housing facility (not even tear down just replace stuff) for the people being deployed there. It took them 8 months to strip the buildings. 8 whole months. I saw our own military dudes replace an entire mile of brick sidewalk in less than a week. They worked no more than 3-4 hours a day. We srop millions on these contracts and i feel you would spend less or should spend less. Jets and all that there is no way around it because what you wont buy they will just sell to another country. But our government is just wasting taxpayer money.

I think the issue isnt that we need to tax the rich more. We need to stop giving these dumb ass politicians 6 figure wages when they cant even show up to work when they are supposed to. Why the hell did we have a government shutdown anyway? They need to shutdown your freaking paycheck. I really want to replace everyone in government who doesnt homd the best interest in this nation. But even if i were to become president it would be me vs all of congress. I dont see no other way out of our situation.
