When I listened to the talk I considered the fact that it might be some sort of elaborate prank. But looking at the doctor’s social media, it seems completely genuine. Here are some of the quotes from the lecture: This is the cost of talking to white people at all. The cost of your own life, as they suck you dry. There are no good apples out there. White people make my blood boil. (Time stamp: 6:45) I had fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way, burying their body, and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step. Like I did the world a fucking favor. (Time stamp: 7:17) White people are out of their minds and they have been for a long time. (Time stamp: 17:06) We are now in a psychological predicament, because white people feel that we are bullying them when we bring up race. They feel that we should be thanking them for all that they have done for us. They are confused, and so are we. We keep forgetting that directly talking about race is a waste of our breath. We are asking a demented, violent predator who thinks that they are a saint or a superhero, to accept responsibility. It ain’t gonna happen. They have five holes in their brain. It’s like banging your head against a brick wall. It’s just like sort of not a good idea. (Time stamp 17:13) We need to remember that directly talking about race to white people is useless, because they are at the wrong level of conversation. Addressing racism assumes that white people can see and process what we are talking about. They can’t. That’s why they sound demented. They don’t even know they have a mask on. I wonder when people became so focused on race and gender politics like where tf was all of this pre-2019? Am i the only one that feels covid somehow catapulted us into the twilight zone. Mass shootings, violence against asians, school critical race theory. Maybe it has always been here. Now that i think about it cartoons like totally spies and powerpuff girls along with steven universe always pushed these feminine girl power narratives. Maybe it was true for race and i just never noticed it.

Hmm school shootings picked up 8 years after Columbine. Empowering women or "girl power" started in the 90s. Why couldn't women be just as promiscuous as men? Why couldn't women be independent and make it on their own? Seems like we were pretty distracted with war after 9/11. Then you have the focus on identity politics following the economic fall of 2008 about 4 or 5 years after that. Around the same time there were giant leaps made in gay rights/marriages. I recall voting on a bill to allow same sex couples adopt and foster in AR. This was at the last years of Obama's term. I think the Trump era made everything hyper focused on everything.

I was gonna say something but after earlier comments today i feel as though i may come off as a bitter meninist. Soooooo yeah nothing against female empowerment. I just think alot of the inequal equality and racist racial equality stuff are geared toward men and straight WHITE men. Especially when you hear stuff like walking up to white person and shooting them. This isnt a gay white person cuz thats discriminatory, this isnt a white woman either. Or maybe it is and im projecting. Who knows. Trump era it did kinda boom maybe all the shit he spouted early in his term spwned these new hell hounds of society like it was a game of call of duty zombies fetching the souls of any person who dares to speak out of turn.
