I really hope in 2024 we can get a Republican president, with senate and house majority that has the best interest in america to sign in new laws that ban any foreign intervention in our politics.

Or something at least that will be better than flying since it leaves so much of a "carbon footprint. Thats the thing people keep saying reduce pollution without giving a solution on how to solve it.

Whatever president the USA gets in the future, I hope it's a relatively young populist. Electing the old guard establishment clearly isn't making anyone happy. o7

Isnt making anybody happy? Well trumpers were sure happy. I think under Biden many have shifted their opinions when he didnt deliver as promised. When with trump he gained followers (ofc he lost a few) but compared to biden he wasn't picked solely because people hated his opponent. Which is what many biden voters, voted him for.

Can confirm. Rather a do nothing corporatist with acceptable environmental policies than an autocrat who doesn't believe in climate change.

His environmental policies suck though, it has only caused more problems for americans. They are basically trying to cram centuries worth of work into mere decades. While yes the technology might be there, the infrastructure isnt. You cant expect every american to up and buy an electric car, or every American to move to solar, or every factory to run off of renewables. Not when there is no proper solution in place. If we maybe had these environmentally friendly policies in place say 20 years ago maybe it would be possible today.

You are gonna shift to brand new infrastructure in a time where building a house made of steel is gonna be cheaper than with wood.

Who is gonna pay for the change in infrastructure though? They literally printed 1.9 trillion dollars that went towards nothing in the economy.
