Political rants

Source HoegLaw is using for reference to his arguments, How the clocks works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vl0582D52ng&t=0s Hoeglaws Video on the topic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_0PP7gDh88 Kind of political (maybe not, but posting here anyways), but I am gonna put this on other forums because this is very relevant for the sake of preservation especially for digital downloads as well. Basically Hoeglaw is suggesting that instead of filing class action lawsuits over the potential inaccessability of games we legally purchased, but to get the Library of Congress to look over the exceptions to the rules established (if that makes sense). It pisses me off knowing that companies these days are so desparate for control over your purchases, that you no longer know what exactly it is of the purchase you own at this point. I do understand that PSN being shut down on Ps3, psp, and vita is inevitable at some point, but at least take the consumer into consideration.

Idrc about losing my games on psn i just dont wanna lose my account. Especially when i put hard work into it collecting those shiny trophies. As for games i usually play them all the way through once, get bored of it and never return.

Seeing that shit about the cop shooting the 13 yr old kid is pretty demoralizing. Not sure if cops are trigger happy out of some kind of anxiety or if the media is just covering every misstep in an attempt to make it seem like its a bigger problem.

@reisenpai66 It has been something that has sadly been going on for a while now. It is an issue that has two things making it worse. First is the recruitment of young kids into gangs. Ever since the 70s, kids as young as 11 have been inducted into violent street gangs in US cities and there have been cases where these young members have fired on the cops. This is exceptionally true in Chicago, Atlanta, LA and used to be the case in NYC until the early 90s. Second is the issue of replica guns being carried by kids, like Airsoft guns or the Entertech water guns made to resemble real firearms. For the record the Entertech water guns were banned by 1990. Now if I can get within 10 feet of somebody with an Airsoft gun even with the orange tip removed I can easily see they aren't real. However at longer distances and at night it isn't so easy to tell the difference. Now from what I've seen so far in this particular case with Adam Toledo, it isn't good. This is probably an example of a trigger happy and or overworked officer, which does not excuse these actions. From what I've been reading about Eric Stillman (the officer who shot him), he doesn't seem to be somebody who is normally on patrol like this. A large amount of officers are sent to guide traffic or have desk duties and Stillman's low records of "use of force" show that he wasn't somebody who patrols very often. Now this might have to do with a very large sum of more experienced officers resigning thanks to the political climate. This means that the police department is hiring fresh officers and throwing them on patrols and having other officers who don't normally patrol on patrol. On a macro scale this could be indication that the system is failing in Chicago and other cities. On a smaller scale it is making the situation dangerous for the general populace since we have officers that are not qualified or properly trained to patrol. Of course this is all speculation and we have to wait for further details, but these are factors as to what may be happening. We should mourn the loss of Adam Toledo since that is something that shouldn't have happened.

@hell_hound7 Doesn't mean you can't complain about it or others are affected by it. That kind of apathy is the reason companies get away with these shady practices in the first place. (In reference to my previous post)

Its my personal opinion, i truly dont think removing someone's games or whatever is good business practice and wil just lead to a loss of revenue for them because why would you rebuy what you already owned
