If everyone has "privilege" is it really a privilege? I dont really think so. Blacks going to jail longer than whites opposed to a black male dominated sports is like apples to oranges bro. Im telling you it doesnt exist. Thats the problem with society these days ur using these dumb ass titles instead of the very obvious problem here. R A C I S M. Thats all it is. Point blank period. There is no privilege anything you see can just be attributed to racsim. When that white judge sees that black teen with dreadlocks and a certain image that is stereotyped thats all it is. A stereotype and therefore they generalize that whole group and hand down the same punishments.

degrees of privilege exist. i have my own privilege as a woman, a good amount of it actually, but that doesn't mean being a woman hasnt also harmed me life is hard for everyone, especially the poor, but being poor and a minority just adds another layer of hardship another issue, which i said already and your making me repeat myself, is that not everyone faces privilege and not everyone faces those hardships, there are billions of people and each of their experiences is unique. but statistically, you are more likely to have a harder life as a minority than as a white person and no, this isn't the fault of white individuals, its the fault of a preexisting socioeconomic disparity that also affects whites as well

@hell_hound7 Let me break it down for you. In Florida, they threw their undesirables (Minorities and those of 'lesser pedigree') into the swamps. In the north before they decided to openly denounce slavery? They pushed their undesirables (Mostly Scotch Irish, and over time, more and more brown people) into the hills. 'Keep them out of site, out of mind.' That's why both Florida and Appalachia has a poverty problem. Both have land poorly fit for farming, with volatile weather patterns that will wreck your day, so its hard to find lucrative work. Thus financially crippling them for generations to come. By the way, the reason why places like West Virginia left to the union was because they identified more with the slaves than the plantation based economy of lower Virginia. Again, where do rich white people send those they perceive as undesirable? The hills. They had their own class struggle, and that's why they split from Virginia. And this stuff didn't conveniently go away the moment the northern states decided to become anti slave states. Because anti slave doesn't mean anti racist. Ohio has plenty of its own problems. None of us want anyone to feel bad for being white. I am proud of my racial heritage, even if my West Virginian side might imply that I'm my own grandpa, and my mother burns crosses on people's lawns. Again, we don't talk about her, that's a different problem kind of racism than what we're talking about here. I just don't think my pride needs to come at the expense of others. When they say black lives matter, I say "Hell yeah they do." And NOTHING about the expense of my pride and self confidence. And yes, I denounce that hillbilly racism that has cropped up, I just wanted to identify why it exists, and why they can't see white privilege as an actual issue. Its cause most civil activists don't take them into account! I hear that from liberals all the time. "Oh, they're just racist hillbillies." is the general attitude I get. As for the Karen? Well, it's because they descend from that hierarchical upper class way of thinking. Many are well connected and know people of power. They don't like the hillbillies or brown people. That's why they do what they do. It's a condescending psychological need to feel like they stand over people. They don't HAVE to go out of their way to do what they do. But it makes them feel powerful in a world where their relevance is fading. @hell_hound7 I'll explain it to you again in simpler terms. Communists pushed the idea of "whiteness", not solely as a racial identifier, but also as a class term. To the communist, anyone who benefits from a capitalist, monarchist, or non-communist society is a "white". It just so happens to be that Caucasians and Asians are able to succeed in America, thus the communist sees them as the "white" class. So "whiteness" is tied to the races who succeed, not simply to a color. Again, this is why people have begun to charge the Asian community with "privilege". It may sound outrageous to you, but that is the point. It is about who has political or economic benefits in society, it historically wasn't necessarily tied to a specific race. You said it yourself, caucasians have held a status of power in their societies for a long time. The communist wants to destroy that status of power, and thus calls it a privilege to be destroyed. Regardless of whether you believe it or not, the communist will label you as part of the system, the privileged, if you do not take part in destroying it. There are neoliberals who solely focus on the race of people when discussing "privilege", but in the end it is still tied to the communist idea of "the people who benefit from 'systems of oppression' must be destroyed". o7

When you see these affluent white families while many blacks live in the slums that isnt white privilege. Thats just the strained tension left over from slavery. These black communities left to fend for themselves in bad neighborhoods while the higher classed white population just goes back to their normal lives. Black people can rise up out of their own situation. But alot of people just want hand outs over an oppression they havent even had to face. Its disgraceful to tell me ur oppressed when your ancestors were being beaten in the streets just for existing and you didnt even see one instance of that kind of life. My life hasnt been hard, i went to white majority schools. I got the same education as them, sat in the same classes, ate in the same cafeteria. Nothing made me different than any one of them. If i experienced hardship it had nothing to donwith the color of my skin tying me down. I just wanna move away from this dumb world full of people who really are worried about the color or birthplace of people rather than their ideas or ideologies.
