The Taiwanese issue should be handled by the Taiwanese reviving their nuclear weapons program, or by the remilitarization of Japan to act as a local peacekeeping force to counter the Communist Chinese aggression. Preferably both happen so that Asia can police itself rather than it being reliant on the USA for protection. Taiwan shouldn't consider the USA a reliable ally and must continue to build up it's own military power if it wants a chance at survival. o7

@chocopyro There is a very good reason why I do not trust progressives and their socialist ideas. I have met more than a few Vietnamese, Cambodian, Cuban and Chinese families who got all the same crap. Some intellectuals claiming to have the answer promise a bunch of goodies. They never have the goodies and now are in a permanent position of power that you can't get rid of, not without a lot of effort and lives if there are any lives left after the Socialists have done their work. An entire branch of my family tree is gone thanks to them. Fact of the matter remains is that I am not going to gamble millions of lives on some hopeful experiment that does not have a good track record.
