Anyone feel disconnected from their culture?

All the time, I constantly feel like I was born in the wrong place at the wrong time. I just don't like that British way of life so to speak, it's usually why I'm such a homebody doing my own thing the vast majority of the time. Granted I'm WELL overdue messaging people still because I'm a total slow arse but I feel SO much more connected to friends from around the world. Most people from the UK want nothing to do with me, either because I message them and they block me for literally no reason (that's happened too many times to count here) or we're talking and I say something that just comes out completely wrong because I'm absolutely terrible at wording a lot of the time and then zilch - granted that one is my fault and I realise it WAY too late but I find Brits are super particular about wording. Me on the other hand, I literally don't give a damn since people are welcome to chat to me about literally anything and everything. I feel that's why I prefer chatting to people across the world, I just feel so much more accepted.

@infernalmonsoon You're not alone, bro. Same with Dixie people (or people in the Southeastern part of the U.S.). They were even stupid enough to think my dancing beats someone I was competing with, but I wasn't interested and didn't mean to do a damn thing! I just pretended(*｀Д´)ノ！！！ Most guys like either big Dodge or Chevy pickup trucks or badass Ford Mustangs and act like "I don't give a fuck!" while vaping and drinking Red Bull. Gals often find someone to do one thing over and over again, while addicted to Chick-Fil-A or Starbucks and play with social media. People in my area look at me as lame, retarded, devilish, abnormal or inferior. When I follow my passion in Japanese culture and media, people in my area bring up Spanish language, "Domo Arigatou Mr. Roboto", gibberish speaking, Buddhism, WWII, etc., etc. I'm a wanderlust. The opposite of homesick.
