Time to burst the Democratic serotonin hype bubble for Joe Biden. Joe Biden is more then likely going to be a lame duck president. Let's assume the best case scenario for the Democrats. The democrats win the 2 senate runoff elections in Georgia. The senate is now evenly split 50/50 Republican and Democrat. Well technically 2 independents. But the independents more often then not side with the Democrats. Therefore in theory. With Vice President Harris for the tie breaker. Democrats hold the balance of power in the senate. Well assuming all Democrats held with the party vote. Assuming all democrats were not actually conservatives. Assuming all democrats went with Biden's agenda. Biden would pass his legislation. But that is incorrect. Even in the best case scenario for the Democrats. Where the Democrats won Georgia's run off elections. The democratic agenda would very likely not pass. Why is that so? Come in West Virginia senator Joe Manchin. In his own words. Joe Machin would not: -pack the courts -end senate filibuster -vote medicare for all https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AqcSOxSmHE Mind you that Joe Manchin voted for Trump's Supreme court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. Joe Manchin is very likely the most conservative Democrat in the senate. How do you think he'll vote on a so called green new deal? My guess is that he'll vote no. I don't know why Joe Manchin just doesn't call himself a Republican. Joe Biden is not going to get much done. Quell your fears. You conspiratorial Trump fans. My guess is that Joe Biden isn't going to do much. The democrats won't have a true majority in the senate with Joe Manchin as senator. As Joe Machin will often side with Republicans. Thus giving the Republicans a 51/49 majority. Effectively blocking Biden's plans. Since Biden might not get much done. Many people will be disillusioned with Biden. Thus giving Trump a good shot to win 2024.
