@momoichi My apologies for not getting back sooner. It was a 70 hour work week. So let's get started. First of all the economy wasn't "great" under the Obama administration. It was 'ehh' at best. Median household income was about $2,000 less than in 1999 which accounting for inflation is around $2900 along with other factors that made it more or less unremarkable. So did Joe Biden help out with this? Yes, but his duties are generally different from the president himself. Biden acting in a more advisory role for most major economic decisions. Generally speaking the Vice President nominee has a more active role during the election campaign as far as duties that overlap with the Presidential nominee. Fact of the matter on Trump asking for poll watchers is no different from Joe Biden hand picking his own. One that lives in a glass house should not throw stones. I personally don't mind the concept of a poll watcher, I do want them to be independent rather than associated with a party. You have to be specific about these sort of things. However I'd rather have a politician be honest and tell the people he's recruiting poll watchers rather than showing up to a polling station and seeing some random goons there. If there are going to be poll watchers, I want to know who the hell they are rather than be surprised. As far as voter fraud being an issue and not swinging a vote, that is your assumption. There are numerous examples of voter fraud that have been found that spoiled the vote by 100s in areas. You have to keep in mind that the general election is only one component of it, more important is the local elections which can have less than 1/2 of people voting in a special election. This can drastically change the results, it doesn't have to be a presidential election to cause massive damage. What people fail to realize is that the President is the politician that is going to have the least amount of impact in your life. The governor, mayor, city council are going to affect your life far more than the things the President does. So someone cheating their way into a local election is going to be more dangerous for you. Most obvious examples are here. https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/elections/yes-america-there-voter-fraud-these-recent-cases-prove-it I read the article. Here's the problem, the closing of the polling stations as well as the reduction of hours are not involved with the ID Law, making them irrelevant to the issue. Closing of polling stations and reduction of open hours is on the head of the County Executive and City Council members. They have a say in the situation of the polling stations, not the state governing body or in the case of North Carolina's voter ID law. This means that the issue wasn't the Voter ID law, but rather the local governing bodies and yes they should be investigated. There is a lot of nonsense going on in North Carolina, but an ID law is not one of them. If that were the case then Kentucky, West Virginia, Florida, Hawaii and a bunch of other states would be being reviewed by their respective Circuit Courts. I will have to ask that we do not move the goalposts and go from Voter ID Laws in the general being racist, vs this one particular example where the law wasn't even the issue, but rather dirty Aldermen, Mayors and County Executives.

Lamby, really? I even politely told you I had to leave. Having a real life I need to participate in is not running away. If I hurt your feelings, I sincerely apologize. I take back implying you lied. You were simply parroting what you heard somewhere else that turn out not to be true... I was wrong for how I worded it, and for directing it at you. I'll be more careful not to do so in the future. Thank you for not holding it against me.
