Minor tear on one of my triceps. Nothing major yet.
But when that bench broke while I was using it, that sucked.

Generally I don't. Main reason being is I use pain to gauge whether I am fully recovered and what was worked that day. So with that said I am in some sort of pain at all times. I will say that I do take things to accelerate the healing process such as casein proteins, beta-alanine, creatine as well as other amino acids. This can make it so that it is around a day and a half to bring a muscle group that has been worked to muscle failure to ready for action.

I will give you my opinion on this. If you are talking about DOMS, then stretching helps improve blood flow to your muscle which might shorten the recovery time of your muscles, but that is about it. Your pain will not reduce directly while stretching and in fact, if you go too hard, it might further tear your already damaged muscle.

Eat a lot, way way more than you feel you can. A lot of very calorie dense food. Also during workouts don't overwork yourself, because you will just burn alot of calories you eat without much real benefit

But still make sure to eat healthy food. Dirty bulking works but it's not healthy

This is a cruddy thing. It is arguably harder for an ectomorph to gain weight than an endomorph to lose weight. @sparkis is right, it is a careful balance of taking in more calories than you burn and doing it in a manner that doesn't impact cholesterol levels.
