Baked potatoes can be good. Sweet potatoes would be the best, but if only white potatoes are accessible, I would choose a less starchy variety

Miso soup is actually very very healthy ^^ Overall it is advisable to consume a lot of soups because they are quite filling and not calorie dense

I love sweet potatoes, but they are too sugary for me. I also need to soak the normal potatoes with water that I can draw the fructose out

By sugary you mean you dislike the sweet taste?

For me a meal of chicken filet and spanish rice goes a long way. But you can buy some cheap grilled chicken meat, and fry it on the pan. Make sure to dump the grease every now and then. Grease is not good for you. Next while you cook the chicken on the pan you prepare the spanish rice. I usually just get a pre-made rice mix from Uncle Ben's. I get my pot and fill it up with water. Put some light butter into it (I use coconut oil just a tiny bit for my personal diet). Pour the rice into the pot and let it simmer with the lid on to let the steam cook the rice. Turn your attention back to the chicken and spice it up with some seasoning. I personally love Tony's Cajun seasoning, but it has high sodium levels so I just use my sea salt and crushed red peppers. Remember to flip the patties every now and then. 10 minutes later check on the rice. You will notice the water has been soaked up by the spanish rice. Get a strainer and dump the rice into it. This gets rid of any left over water. Turn on the burner that was cooking the rice. Mix the seasoning in along with some more butter or coconut oil. Put the lid back on to keep it warm. Now finish cooking the chicken patties. Once cooked slice up the patties and there you have it. Spanish rice and chicken!!
