I heard they aren't releasing Hazbin Hotel since the creator sold it to some channel and now its going to be a TV show

Hazbin was picked up by A24 which is a company with a good reputation.

I suppose that it's a blessing for the series to be supported by an official studio. My hunch is that the creator of the show already had a foot in the door and simply used YouTube as an indicator of how well it could sell for the potential publisher. I do hope it can receive a copious amount of constructive editing. Hazbin has much to love yet it also has a terrible job trimming the fat for certain dialogues between characters. Maybe make one long joke into a series of running gags across future episodes and not blow the payload in one shot is all I'm saying!
