Yeah, that ride seems more like something he would build rather than Alastor. The Marmalizer would totally be some random machine he was commissioned to make by the British Government.

Also, I don't see Alastor as a the kind of person who like steal coasters. He seems more like a wooden coaster enthusiast.

the color is not the issue. Alastor has been specifically stated in cannon to not like technology past the late 30's. Steal rollercoasters were invented in the late 50's.
