Meaning you dont HAVE tongo out and eat, same way you dont HAVE to have certain things. Again you really can budget money. If you have ever been homeless you will know what i mean. It is not impossible to save money. Some people just dont know how. You can always change a situation. Save up enough money to invest in a better future and then save up money from any returns that might have. Its hard but not impossible.

How does a single mother working multiple jobs being barely able to provide food and shelter for her kids (let alone school books and other things) cut costs? Many do not manage to earn the amount of money necessary to even get a shitty apartment and provide for multiple children as a single parent. I was also talking about getting rich in my original post. So how does your reply even relate to my post? You don't get rich by working hard or saving money. That was my point. If your parents worked hard and saved money.. and you still struggled... how is your experience contradicting my point? Stop approving a system that fucked you over.

We went from 1 person spending $20 on dinner rather than $20 groceries to a single mother with multiple children and multiple jobs. Which is a shitty situation but I get what Panda was saying. A $20 meal for 1 person is ridiculous.
