It kind of baffles me and makes me feel like an even older fart when I say this, but: I didn't use to be like that at that age. I wasn't a 16 yo boy looking for 25 yo women. I'm not even sure the thought ever occurred to me

ᎶᏗᏁᎶᏕᏖᏗ ᏰᏗᏰᎩ @candystarmagic ᴛᴀʟᴍᴇʀɪᴇ @reimisan It's simple, some people exclusively look at the physical aspects and draw conclusions based on their appearances, "she's got this trait I like, so she must be pretty X unrelated trait" so they start associating things outside of the reality of what they should be paying attention to. What happens then is, you end up with someone who likes you exclusively physically, whom, if you said yes to, would have basically no topic to discuss about nor anything to go for.
