The dice is actually pretty easy, just requires quick reflexes and knowing to use the buster on it instead of hitting it. Whatever is on top when you buster it will be what you roll.

True, but DMC4 felt rushed in general, the coolest boss is literally the only one you don't fight a second or third time, and there are only four or five other bosses.

What made her fight tough for me was when party members HP would hit 0 and they would be absorbed into time, and you are no longer able to use them the rest of the battle. I doubt they will. Metal Gear Acid was another card based spin-off game that got ditched to go back to the standard stealth action of the main titles. Kingdom Hearts is known to diversify itself over each iteration, however the more tried and true hack n' slash will remain the default settings.
