Nuts how everyone in the town were floating around. Then Isaac summons a giant demon to hold a giant mass of people. Really creepy but kinda cool.

I actually haven't. I like the lore and the story but I was never great at those sorts of games.

You might try Symphony of the Night if you have not. It's very easy (much easier than the NES/SNES titles), and you can just grind levels a bit if anything gives you trouble (like most RPGs). And you play as Alucard.

The two themes of that season were Trust and Loneliness. And damn, the only arc that caught me offguard was... Apple mayor. Like all the psychological red flags were there, but they were written in a way where people who study psychology might not pick up on them right away. And that was good writing... Even if 3/4 arcs leave a bad taste in my mouth. But the journey getting there was fun enough to keep me wanting more. I'll just have to go over to the corner and be numb for a few weeks.
