post real pictures!!!

chibisoul
I think everyone here should post at least one real photo of themselves. i mean, you may be shy or insecure, everybody is to some extent, but isn't that the reason we're all here in the first place? just bothers me i guess that over half the profiles here are too ambiguous to pursue. I get that it's cool to post some anime photos we like, but it makes it harder for people to take it seriously.

if nothing else, maybe we should start a IRL pic thread? i dunno how the admin would feel about that.

I agree completely.

I don't think everyone has some sort of camera or anything to show a pic of them.

^ laptops, and even the cheapest of cell phones are increasingly coming standard with cameras, of course people can get a photo up they just choose not to!

^^ I'd wager the "can't" vs "dont want to" ratio is pretty heavily one sided. but sure, perhaps a few folks might not have any means to... but certainly not at the volume we see right now. i mean, this is a place to meet potential significant others, so you're not helping yourself or anyone who might possibly be interested in you by hiding your face!! that's all I'm gettin at! it would help the community out a lot.

This isn't just a place for dating, it's also a social network...If this were solely an anime dating site I'd agree with you DokujiSoul.

wolf, lets be honest, with little hearts all over the guest homepage showing people making out etc, we all know this is primarily a dating site and thats why most of us joined in the first place. but even to the extent that people are soley using it to "socially network", gahd i hate that term, it's still more meaningful to put a face to the name, even for friendship.
