What is your favorite Final Fantasy?

FF VIII was my introduction to the franchise too. In fact I first played VIII on a demo disc from Pizza Hut! Funny enough the demo disc also featured Rob Zombie's song Dragula simultaneously getting me hooked on listening to Metal lol! Being 8 years old in the 90's was a fun time. Squall, Zell, Quistis, Rinoa, Irvine, Selphie and Seifer were all characters I related to. In particular Seifer was my first role model which didn't go over to well in elementary school. Let's say I got in trouble a lot. I calmed down since obviously and leaned more towards Squall for my middle school years before giving up on trying to emulate fictional characters haha! If I had to pick one, I would have to say 5. The job system in that game really works for me. Not to mention the sense of humor the story has.

The first one because it wasn't as story focused. There is a sort of charm to it that I cannot seem to shake off. It certainly isn't the best made but I cannot help but enjoy it more since that world did not seem as involved as future titles. I do like all of them for the most part but again the first one cannot seem to stop being my favorite in the series. Simple is best as they say.
