Coronavirus. Your thoughts? [Serious and Non-Serious]

Us UK plebs have now been placed into lockdown, but because we're stubborn and apparently we hate everyone. People are still ignoring it...Me on the other hand, I don't like dying or killing everyone else, I'm going to embrace my 3 weeks of indoor boredom. Just need to figure out what I'm watching or reading to kill time...

I think it might be truly over for America when it comes to fighting back against coronavirus. 2 weeks, all we needed was 2 weeks. Just chill at home, social distance, end of epidemic no problem. But nope people wanna go party, spring breakers with no regard for the health and safety for their loved ones who can be affected i hope when you infect the same people you love reality will hit you and you realize things arent funny anymore. The government cant keep pushing and prolonging people not working. It will have long term affects on our country. And we cant pump millions or dollars into test for a virus that shouldnt have even made it to our country. China is on the other fucking side of the world. How the hell are we one of the ones badly affected by this? Then the government took too long to shut shit down. Where is the enforced law? Why not mobilize the military to contain people in a quarantine and get rid of this. Yes the military fought for your right to be free but what good are those rights if you sre dead. You literally spit on the graves of every brave soldier who fought ofor you. And even worse YOU kill the survivors. Its fucking disgusting.

The other bad thing about all this is that the virus could mutate, you never know, just like how the flu gets stronger snd stronger every year and evolves now this thing could possibly do the same, it will now just cycle around the world the way the flu does.

They called me crazy when I bought 6 months worth of MREs, they called me crazy when I invested in Soviet NBC gas mask, they called me crazy for buying many firearms and ammunition. I hoped for that something like this wouldn't happen and it sort of has. It should reverse itself in due time, however in that time I am set for bunkering down in the mountains.

Since the schools have been shut here, parents have taken the "opportunity" to take their children out on day trips, absolutely filling up shopping centres, parks and god knows what other place. I just can't believe that people would risk, not only their lives and, of course, others, but the lives of their own children. I find ridiculous how many people are trying to ignore this literally life threatening pandemic that is affecting the entire world. Even today, when our law required lockdown was put in place, the London underground trains were absolutely packed like a tin of sardines with people.
