Wonderful set of pictures. The old damn interests me greatly. I'm an archaeologist by trade and we have something similar but much older down where I'm at. Do you know if it a lumber or paper mill?

The mill was originally constructed in the late 1700's after the Revolution of America. It was part of a long since destroyed plantation farm that used the mill for grist. Grist was how they turned grain into flour. Eventually it was converted into a water powered loom that made cotton into fabric. Most of its workforce consisted of children apparently. Fun times...

I went to sleep before I could read everything. But, the forest seemed really cozy for a while, with the tight path. Dangers lurking around every corner, hehe, but it was hunky-dory in the end.

Thank you! I had fun storytelling and it gave me a reason to take pictures. One of my Uncles lives in Taiwan and he always has his camera to capture life's moments.

You and your uncle are creating your own history by recording your life moments. I hope you'd want to do more of this in the future, it would be fun to go through this again.
