My meds just tippled in cost after the republicans sneakily threw me off my health care, so I'm literally choosing between meds and rent right now. May I join you in the systemic fuckery?

Also, just survived 7 days a week, working 10 hour shifts for a warehous job, only to find out they gimped out on my overtime pay for the saturdays and sundays, so... My condolences. Its tough to acclimate to, but once your body gets used to it... It's too late, because the wear and tear on the mind has been done.

I agree, but I think Democrat healthcare is a bit of a misnomer. If I recall, medicare should be called Mitt Romney Care. It's what remains of the single payer health care system after he and his corporate buddies shredded it apart and had their way with it, then gave it back dripping with questionable fluids. This broken carcass of a healthcare system was then called Obamacare. I hate the establishment democrats almost as much as republicans, because they don't actually want to fix that shambling scat. They're corporatists who do the bidding of their private doners the same as any neocon, and they never practice what they preach. But damn it, it's the reason my brother survived brain surgery, and kinda what kept my head above the water for a few years.
