Truly? I don't believe so. I'm still as random and as "immature" as the day I finished High School. I'm now 25. I do things others wouldn't consider "normal." I'm happier for it, though. I think that if we listen to our inner child a bit more often, and act responsibly when it's absolutely necessary, then we improve the overall quality of our lives.

I don't know what else to say to this, but feel free to add whatever you want, even change the subject if you want to. This is an open thread for anything. XD

I agree with you, all I've seen of growing up is pain and suffering. Why the hell would anyone want to? So while I maintain an adult view of the world I also enjoy the things that made my childhood fun and special.

I agree as well, being too serious all the time is just boring and painful at the same time. I love to have fun and I really don't give too much of a damn if other people think it's "immature" or not.

I agree with deuce831. The problem is that there is always a time to be serious and get our work done.

Why cant a "grown up" be a bit "immature". i mean really? i am have been force to "mature" in the last few years, but i still act a little "childish" at times. i feel to maintain a "mature" person's sanity they need to be a little "childish" at times

I believe the idea is to not take life too seriously and keep a chilled disposition, regardless of age and maturity. Well at least thats the way I prefer it...

growing up is more based around responsibility. As a child it is something like turn your homework in on time. Majority of us have turned something in late once or twice. If you don't accomplish something on time as an adult say, your job requires several water samples checking for Ph, BOD, COD, temperature, and so on.... If you turn those in late...huge fine for your work by the Environmental Board. Good luck keeping your job when your company asks why they were not turned in on time and your excuse was my dog ate it.

I'm mature on weekdays between the hours of 8am to 5pm
The rest of the time, I'm the guy wearing cat ears, playing video games, watching anime while eating pizza with j-rock playing on the radio
0_0 I suddenly realize why I'm still single
