Dragon Ball Super: Broly The reviews for it are generally very positive. Yes you can watch it if you haven't watched Dragon Ball previously but it's not recommended.

Yeah, can't go wrong with anything from Studio Ghibli. All fantastic brilliant pieces works of art. Oh, I have an obscure animated film from the 1980's. It's called the Sea Prince and the Fire Child.
