You are missing the point Lamby. First off protein powders, gym memberships, the hours you put in every day, grooming tools, nice clothes, I can go on. Being the Ideal man is expensive, painful, and many times stressful. Much more so than you think. I could play the downplay game too and say women just need to "shave and put on a few products. not a big deal. makeup covers a lot of it anyway" and it'd be just as uninformed Now.... Whether or not most men adhere to it is separate entirely. Your decision to enforce society's standards of beauty on yourself is, in fact, YOUR decision. And you have no idea how it feels as a man to follow those pressures. There is a whole other set of expectations for being a "masculine attractive man" . You have never been a man trying to pursue a woman. So how you can figure to just know that women have harder expectations confounds me. But this is all detracting from the point which is that at the end of the day the individual is attracted to who they are attracted to. you cannot compel a person to find you attractive just by telling them so. And it's their business who they are into. If a guy wants a girl with big boobs and you happen to be less endowed then you might just have to handle not being his type. Just as a guy whose 5'5 tops might have to accept that women who only want tall boys might not see him as an attractive sexual prospect. That's life. NOT an issue Also, less than 15% of men in the US are over 6 feet tall(a fact that kinda makes me feel good about myself but I digress) yet if you look at casting calls for male model a great deal ONLY want tall boys.

We can play "who has it worse" till the cows come home but I thought that the point was to fix ills in society. That pressure is self-imposed. It's your ideal of what you think the world wants from you. I'm sure guys still find you plenty sexy and attractive even if you aren't the "ideal" woman. You can choose to say "fuck that. Ima do me and live for myself" Not an issue

lol you think men spend more money on their appearance than women? do you forget women also go to the gym? also buy grooming tools? clothing? hell, women have to pay MORE for these things than men do (minus the gym membership) and you can also tack on beauty products, bras, and feminine hygiene products just to name a few it is uninformed because make up costs a shit ton and we have our whole lower body to shave, including sometimes our evn faces (ill admit i have a small mustache i must shave, i blame being half latina for that) who is asking you to be the ideal man? and you know what, lets say they are least you dont have to get surgery to change how you look all you need is some hard work and a healthy lifestyle if this just comes to individual attraction then are you going to say that women arent pressured to shave our legs or wear make up or hell, even SMILE (those lovely dudes on the random street that have to remind you your prettier when you smile, i assume thats never happened to you) its nice you think that wer equal when it comes to appearances, but it is not what happens irl thats like saying women just want to be wear make up and shave our legs cause its in our dna fyi, model agencies want tall people, not just dudes women have to be extremely tall too
