what do you value most in a friendship?

i see myself as slightly dependent as i struggle to be alone so the support and encouragement from my friends is amazing sometimes i'm so lost that i need someone to tell me what to do lmao otherwise i love the experiences i have and the good/bad things i learn from every person i meet what about you?

I look at friends at different angles, some being able to provide information or guidance, and others being able to pull you out of dark places. But overall, being able to just enjoy each other and laugh is valuable.

As a person who has talked to thousands of people and befriended a few hundreds over decades, what I value the most are their experiences. Specially if they live in a different country, their cultural shocks, how have they lived up to this day, their first love experiences, painful ones, sad ones, it's marvelous to get to know others and hear or read of how they became the person they are now!

The other person being ok with me being myself. Its easy to make friends by putting on a mask but they are your true friends if they stick around when you take it off. Being lost will always be apart of life just gata remember everyone else is or was just as lost as you are.

Yooo, I value comfort in friendship, what's the point of befriending someone if you feel the need to let your guard up when you're around them? Just wanna have someone who I can be myself with, without feeling the need of censoring my pretty danke behavior. e:b:ic

I value mutual understanding,like-mindedness,respect,exchange of knowledge/ideas/thoughts in friendship(thanks to my dear friends, I'm not as self-conscious as I used to be, I have a better understanding of this world, I have been more open-minded and emotionally expressive)

The only thing that I want from a friend is to chat with me and make me smile, while also letting me be myself without needing to pretend to be someone else. I hate it when I need to wear a mask with someone, it just makes me hate myself even more >-<
