Well, I'm pretty sure the independence party is still in charge (I don't really keep track of politics) There have been air raid drills and stuff because China is rattling its cage. Similar things are happening in Hong Kong, aren't they? Something big was happening in Hong Kong. I have a friend working out there who got hit by tear gas in the protest lines.
