If anything, the "nice guy" term is applied after the fact the guy acted like a piece of shit. Nobody is seeing niceness as a negative trait.

I read the first couple pages and the last few pages... The article in the OP should be a wake up call to girls online. At the very least, don't have any personal info available online, or anything that can be tracked back to you. Also, the fuckhead in that article, minus the murdering, reminds me of some users on this site, one dude in particular currently. Obsessive, stalks, gets rejected multiple times, and instead of moving on he gets more obsessive, and becomes toxic towards anyone that talks to the girl he has determined belongs to him. It's pathetic, really. And I'm just glad he doesn't know any of her personal information. Who tf is running around admitting (bragging?) about getting underage girl's phone numbers? That's almost as pathetic as someone admitting to playing computer games about raping underage girls and sharing the titles with other users! i have one friend that is a mutual friend of my gf he tried to get with my gf a lot earlier i met her but he couldn't (he is 34 and she is 19) fastforward we get together etc.. the thing is this dude is the personification of a nice guy he goes to all feminist marchs but in fb post things like "i would do this with your gf " or "look at this cosplayers" and when we were talking about a meetup with other friends he said things like "if i have two beautiful ladys at my side idc where i eat" (my gf and other friend) and the past week my gf told me that he told her that "he was jelaous" and "didn't understand why she needs him if she has me and josh (another friend of us)" and ofc she got mad and he apologize later. In the daily he sends her like +15 messages in a hour and things like that i like him and all but thats creepy af. Nice guys are creppy af
