Choco, That is a reason. You're on an adventure and it just so happens to be called life. Just Livung can be the reason for existing. But, I could just be drunk from drinking Irish coffees my wife made. So, what do I know? Sometimes living is enough.

My reason for living is because I know someone is out there for me.... https://youtu.be/4nyHPIcbn88

Well, everyone gives their lives their own meaning or lack of meaning (with philosophies like nihilism). For me, it'd be to enjoy life and live it as best I can while spreading some of that enjoyment around. Simple meaning with at times complicated ways to pursue it. I ain't really a religious person. But whether it be faith or belief in something more, finding meaning in those close to you/around you, or the accepting/acknowledgment of everything's absurdity and meaninglessness....religion, spirituality, philosophy, nihilism, enlightenment, reincarnation, karma...all are beliefs/world-views that each give comfort/discomfort to different people with different experiences, different ideals, different way of perceiving things, and different hopes and dreams. There will always be elitists religious and non-religious people in society that argue and damn whole people/beliefs that give others meaning for being different or contracting against their own beliefs, rather than embracing the differences and finding out more about such beliefs in a universe as big as ours....cause whose to judge what's true with our current understanding of life and existence? Is the idea of an omnipotent being existing ridiculous because we've since learned that there's a multitude of black holes consuming entire stars and solar systems as we speak, how there are organisms whose whole existence is born around digging out the eyeballs of living beings people, and with there at times being such cruelty and suffering in our world? Is believing in something more like a god really a bad thing when it can save and encourage people into striving for a more loving, accepting, and responsible world rather than not believing in anything and risk cynically believing the world's filled with nothing but cruelty and suffering, and nothing more...all due to not even having faith in people anymore? With our understanding of existence while on this planet at this current time and age, how much can our science prove until we run into things we can't yet logically explain? How we don't even know what's in the depths of own oceans, how people have déjà vu sometimes recalling that they've already seen events that have just transpired before in their dreams (time after all is just a system we've made after all), and what exactly caused the big bang or existence as a whole to begin with? Overall, call me arrogant, but I think its because conscious beings like us exist that we can give it some meaning. Cause in the end, we're all apart of the universe, came from it, and will return to it when we die. So whether you think life is all without reason, has some hidden/innate meaning to it, or if there's something more out there that's bigger than us...whether you love life and others because you've had a stable upbringing with people to guide you, whether you hate life and others because no one was there for you when you needed it, or if you just go with the flow, not dwelling on such questions...we're all in this together as beings that feel anxiety and emotion from obstacles and each other despite how such universally small such things are, being capable of exchanging knowledge through communicating, conveying, and debating our thoughts through the words, expressions, and signs we've made as we continue to evolve, progress, improve, learn from mistakes, change as people, and continue our existence through our children that will solve answers we couldn't solve ourselves by using the past as a stepping stone in the right direction...and to cherish what time we do have left with new experiences and thrills before we one day find out for sure what's beyond our bodies. For as wretched, selfish, and ugly life and people are and have shown to be with murder, rape, greed, wars, cynicism, hate, conflict, dominance, and fighting, we wouldn't be able to do anything or get to where we are now on our own. That's why I do think that our lives have meaning and that every life matters...even if existence was just formed by some huge singularity that will be scientifically explainable in a few hundred or thousands years with new scientific laws being discovered/formed, proving there wasn't some higher power that made existence...we're all people trying to live our lives as best we can, each with our own personalities, experiences, beliefs, ideals, hopes, and dreams.

@blissfullforce1818 Not taking what trolls to say to heart and get to you is only the first step. Gloating, dominating, and/or adopting a power-over system over trolls, thinking every troll will give up after asserting yourself over them, is ineffective and naive, usually only making them smarter and encouraging them to become worse so they can manipulate and mess you and others up even more. Because then, the narrative turns into the "powerless" striving to overcome the "powerful", becoming more like a dick measuring contest to see who can 1-UP the other, rather than establishing a system that combats that very ego-driven retort, while still saying such behavior is unacceptable and won't be tolerated, cutting the head off the snake. On this site, ignoring and professional punishment is the best way to combat trolls, which discourages them.
