Toxic fandoms

I tend to avoid fandoms, but if we are talking communities, the League of Legends community can be slightly toxic at times :p

Steven Universe. I haven't watched this show yet, but all I ever hear about it is how rocks don't have genders and similar tumblr-y things, all explained in a very aggressive and hateful manner. Last week I watched a few youtube videos explaining the show's themes and it's all about empathy, expression, 50 shades of crying and positive messages like "it's ok to lose". All things that clearly do not reflect on the fandom, lemme tell you that :/

When I was part of it, Warframe's community was (and from what I've observed, still is) toxic as all hell. The "Star Wars community" is toxic, but usually because there's such a divide between casual moviegoers that liked the films and people that have played most of the games, read a lot of the books, etc. Like every community, there's "you're not a true fan" elitists. Star Wars doesn't really have a true community though. It's more along the lines of a discussion board of people who think they know more than everyone else. It's really not an actual community.

Rather than toxic, gross, Sonic fandom Such a cute and simple character utterly ruined by the envisions of mentally ill people, I nearly puked when I saw Sonic on diapers and... ;-;

If I could eliminate one fandom from the face of the earth it would be the Sonic fandom. Rick & Morty and Steven Universe are close seconds and thirds respectively. I'd also have to admit the NGE fandom is filled with pompous pricks as well, (Sad, because NGE is my favorite but never was able to make friends with members of its fandom).
