I started with speed racer on cartoon network before they started the toonami block..then watched toonami shows like thundercats, ronin warriors, mobile suit gundam wing and sailor moon ahaha... anyone else?

Back when I was kid the word anime did not exist. Those who cared called it Japanimation, and those who didn't just called it a cartoon. As a result I do not know what was the first anime I saw.

I'm sure I called them cartoons back then too, but now I would call them anime? Your only a couple years younger than me, did you not watch toonami growing up?

Is sailor moon worth rewatching? Asking for a friend... I forgot about how much pokemon I used to watch...and how many binders full of cards I had haha

It depends on what version of sailor moon you mean. The old dub has it charms despite the censorship.

I prefer watching my animes subbed for some reason...the English voiceovers rub me the wrong way
