Zod wasn't mentally ill he was a man with a vision and different beliefs the difference was there wasn't anything wrong with his brain joker has literal chemicals messing with his brain same with Darkseid a man with a vision nothing wrong with his brain Dr. Freeze had something wrong with his brain that altered the memory of who he was preserving and that obsession with his delusion is what ended him up in the asylum you can't compare someone with a disorder to someone who's naturally cruel/evil

*loud burp* I can't believe I'm saying this, but Lambus makes the better argument. Batman's principles are flawed.

All heroes principle are flawed again the argument isn't whether heroes are effective it's whether batman is a good hero since heroes don't kill when they do that would be considered an anti hero

Cause the template batman follows is the same template all heroes follow which first was implemented in order to get parents to allow their kids to read the comics

Not killing hard core criminals makes a bad hero, not a good one. Imagine if the police couldn't kill someone going on a shooting rampage. Imagine if the police adapted Batman's ethics. That is to say. The police would try to somehow incapacitate a wild gunman. That is inefficient, dumb and dangerous. Some killings are wholly justified. In the defense of the innocent. Even in your own self defense. A killing is wholly justified.
Imagine Batman arrived at his cave. Some villain already beat the shit out of Alfred. The villain pulls out a gun and shoots Alfred once, twice and is about to shoot a third time. Killing that villain is wholly justifiable right there and then.

I mean Superman doesn't kill Lex Luthor, the Flash refuses to kill reverse flash, the green lanterns are prohibited from using any form of lethal attacks so like I said heroes aren't really all that effective but batman is still a good hero again that doesn't mean being a hero is effective, but you keep bringing things up that could be aimed towards literally any super hero

Oh and also you're right and when those things happen batman does indeed goes over the edge one of the evil batmen only turned evil because some villains found out Alfred knew and murdered the shit out of him afterwards batman rebuilt Alfred and went on a crusade killing every villain and anyone who tried to stop him
