Multiple guys approaching and aggressively hitting on a girl

It's not what "Guys" are thinking. They're pricks, probably drunk or just plain stupid. No it doesn't work, and if they weren't so stupid They would know it, But they're attempting to coerce them into it with intimidation. Shitty people do shitty things, That simple, It's not relegated to one gender. It's however the reason why I always tell the women in my life to keep a gun on them at all times. Gun's are the world's equalizer, from weak men to women, Doesn't matter if they're twice her size. Not always going to have a man around to protect them so it's smart to keep something you can use as a last resort.
