Halloween Thread!

I think one of the reasons why I love the movie Hocus Pocus is because it's a good representation of how Halloween was when I was a kid. You go to a residential area and more than half the houses are giving out candy while the other households are out walking the streets for goodies. Sometimes you would come across people having parties, or you would be attending one after doing some trick or treating. That's what I'm hoping to re-create this year now that we are in our own place. I want to give out candy. I want to have a party. I want the people who come to the party feel like they were when they were kids on Halloween. I need a fog machine.

I would, but I already put up a fence with a no trespassing sign to keep the kids off my lawn, haha! Seriously this area has some troublesome teenagers. One year a group of 18 year olds were going door to door wanting candy. I feel that's meant for children under the age of 15 to do. However even though out of kindness they were given treats they still went out of their way to trash the decorations and smash a pumpkin! Not feeling very spirited this year. Though someone did get the bright idea to walk up and down the street as Michael Myers last week. Neighborhood Watch really stepping up their game this year, heh!
