In order to understand memes, you kinda need to understand the minds behind the people who are behind them. A good way to understand how the people in the asshole of the internet think (Which is where many memes permeate from) is to read or listen to some 4chan greentext stories. The way they format their stories, and the content of the stories themselves should tell you everything you need to know.

Thank you for your advice. I suppose I should look into that as well, couldn't hurt right? I'll just be mentally scarred from 4chan later. Still ever so closer to understanding the memes!
