Do looks really matter?

I'm with shy on this one. Cuz I am not pretty most guys don't even bother with me unless they believe I'm desperate enough to hop into bed with them. Which is very insulting. The world revolves around appearances. It's worse when social media ensnares the gullible and says this is the preferred body type. It's not worth twisting yourself to fit their preferred image either. If there's something you alone don't like about your appearance then try and fix it, but if someone else doesn't like it then screw them. Their opinion shouldn't even matter even though it does nag at us.

I think attraction is key to a healthy relationship. I could not be with someone who I wasn’t physically attracted to. My ex was a real pain in the ass , but god damn she was beautiful. Everytime I look at me seductively, I instantly wanted to push her again a wall and go berserk on her. And just like that I was ready to forgive everything bad she has done and avoid multiple relationship-ending fight.

While in a way you are right Bruce, you have to have a line drawn. Letting them be a pain in the ass and focusing SOLELY on looks will cause nothing but trouble and will not get you far. There needs to be attraction of some kind yes, whether it be emotional attraction or physical. But it has to be balanced with your attraction to how nice they are. What their actions state to you, and if you are okay with how they treat you/those around you and how they react with their friends around and everything. People are 2 faced now a day.

That would be very rare. Especially if ones actual good looks is bliss nded by the "what's in" good looks media keeps posting. It's depressing.
