Do looks really matter?

Everyone has a preference. Looks can be the key to someones door. But your personality keeps you in...or gets you the boot.

The thing with personality is, It's very transparent, you can't really tell If one's personality is good or not until you know them better. A good personality alone will never get you dates, it's rather more useful to maintain a relationship though.

I agree with [Bruce] Weeb with Style and [MLG] Loki. Keeping yourself tidy and clean is usually the best thing you can do as people judge you on appearance first and foremost. Then you just need to be you but with a little pazaz to make them wanna find out more and stick around, even if its just to be friends.

To an extent, yes. No one would hook up with someone they think was flat-out ugly. But beauty is subjective. Also the first impression is often looks. Personality is probably the most important, and things like being able to hold a conversation hold different weights for different people. There are definitely some very shallow people out there though

I agree, the personality is very important. And for the looks - I only care about the things that you are responsible for. For example weight... If you weigh a lot and complain about it - change it. And everything you can't change (((and no I don't mean surgeries))) is beautiful in it's own way.
