What is the best way to start a relationship?

Bliss, There is such a thing as having the bar set to high. If something isn't working, we dont blame the world, we change so as to get what we need/want. But at least you're honest in not really breaking down what positives you have to offer another.

Spend time chatting, sharing interests, life experiences, helping the other in their worries, listening to them, going somewhere with them etc. Takes time to get to know someone as if you rush things, well there can be surprises that might become deep enough problems that could cause a break up, a divorce etc. To me finding a deep connection and seeing if they want to talk to you after a decent time compared short interest. Uncover their moral values, views in life + ways to deal things will show you if it is good to go deeper. All of this with just being friends, without the motive of are they the one that I'm looking and at some point realizing that oh: I should make that next step and ask etc. Note. This is my ideal. No personal evidence that it works yet. I just know the complete opposite of this which was a disaster and personally am annoyed that I let it end up happening the way it did.

I would have to say being my best friend will be the best way to my heart. Things are never what it seems at times when it comes to dating so being friends at least lets you in a little further than asking straight out. Nothing wrong with confessing anime style (Yeah, on the rooftop/in the alley/classroom/wherever) but it would help for them to know you. Sometimes, people find love in the strangest places if its meant to be. Be patient, love finds a way.
