I think that every video game has a story mode and every story is unique so I wonder what is your favorite video game story mode?

My go-to answer would be Xenoblade Chronicles, but I feel RPGs might be "cheating". Another storycentric genre I guess would be Visual Novels, and my prize goes to Danganronpa for that. My non-RPG/VN favourite story.. Hard to pick, so top 3: Warframe, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Metroid Prime.

The witcher 3 and crisis core are the master pieces i can remenber right now. But there is also games like the 3rd birthday or bastion that aren't my favorite story wise but they have a really unique touch.
