Eh, I can't say I ever really wanted to be part of the community or anything like that. I mostly stick around because it's interesting to lurk the forums and stuff, and there are some pretty cool people who are active here. Well then again I can be oddly stubborn when it comes to admitting I actually enjoy the presence of people...B-baka! I-it's not like I like it here or anything!

Can't say that I can relate with you experiences as my life has been peaceful for the most part. But still what you said is inspiring. At some point enough is enough and then you can straighten your back, face your weaknesses, fears and past and overcome them.

Yeah, I've always felt to old for the high school/college age demographic this site tends to attract.

Age difference is a challenge in itself. Also understanding young people and their way of talking can be confusing or annoying based on the level of difference in the base level that one considers normal. Some young people can also be more mature / refined / polite in their way of communicating than their age would entail. Overall though it is up to chance too if you find someone nice to talk to. Also people at 30 and plus start to have more difficulties finding similar minded people in places like these or irl in our cases for examble. Some have gotten in to a relationship already and some have given up on finding one. Going to cons becomes increasingly more of a mental wall due to them having a lot of young people and as you're not anymore in school/uni well meeting others in this hobby goes down. It is a interesting trend and progression in a sense. Not something to be desperate about but just something to keep in mind so that you can push yourself a bit more, become active in a sense, if one wants to find friends and that soulmate.

I know that I shouldn't say this because I know that a lot of people will just ignore it. But I really feel left out of the community that I love so much as from the anime Community to the otaku community I feel like I was never looked at as a friend or an ally when I was always that person Who Loved anime and manga from when I was a little kid giving away my anime toys two people I called friends that didn't really care about me too now where I am trying to find someone that is interested in anime as much as I am and find friends that won't judge me for liking anime and a long run. I had a smile meeting the people the first time I made an account here but now it just feels like I got left out and feel like all of the friends that I made you have just forgot about me and never cared about me to begin with. From the advice I give to the encouragement to continue on with your day while hoping for a new tomorrow..... Well I still continue to look for a friend tomorrow.
