Getting old

I'm not that far and I already feel like shit. I just try to keep the thought away of my mind.

Every day I say to myself “Why did I waste so much time in my early twenties doing X instead of Y”, but yah know what, I’m pretty well off all things considered. At least financially. No debt and with a comfy stack of cash in the bank and in my 401k. I still have 2+ years before I hit the big 3-0, so I hope by then I would have hit a few more financial goals. Yet again just yesterday I was swearing under my breath that I was gonna quit my job and travel for a while, so those goals may not be reached xD I’ve noticed a bit of my dad start to show up in me lately, mostly his love of ice cream and penchant for napping haha. Thankfully I’m not much like my mother, albeit she does have some pretty neat skills and talents that wouldve been cool to have inherited. Just my opinion, but I think this age is sorta when you realize that you were just a kid when you thought 30 was old and you would have everything figured out by then (or now).

Ohnoes got it on during his honeymoon! Niiice! I think for me I've gotten more confortable with myself as I've gotten older. Theres also been a lot of change for me this past year as well, so maybe thats part of it. I'm more comfortable being by myself and accepting my introvertedness. That being said, I've found a couple of really great friends I can be open with amd am more grateful for the ones that really do show they care. I'm trying to get myself in a good enough place to be able to help them and return the kindness theyve shown me, even of they're gonna be stubborn about it. I also found that I'm returning to more things I did for enjoyment when as was young. As well as not giving a fuck about 99.9% of people. I focus more on my own improvement and what I enjoy. Not controlling people that deserve to burn!

Koyote, Just for corrections sake, twas on my birthday last year(Which was several months after our honeymoon), while on a mini vacation that my wife planned, that my son was conceived. And yes, yes it was very niiice, thank ya. ;)

The months dont add up to me then I guess XD I hope he wasnt premie. And if he was, I'm glad hes all good. Keep fathering!!

Can't wait to be that grandpa, that watches 80's anime and plays video games. I'm only 25 and I don't feel like partying anymore. I'd rather get outside, spend my time enjoying the sunshine and the nature or I just get me some ice cream.

I'm 23 and I spent most of my childhood with kids or adults older than me so I was always old.when I get old I'll hope I'm with someone in the end.
