Possessive/Protective

I like someone being Possessive/Protective of me. My ex would show it every one in a while and I loved it. But I'd want it a lot more than she actually was.

Just at an average level, not too much as stalking everything i do, cause that'll be a sign of not trusting me and that doesn't feel nice at all

Protective is fine I guess, possessive is also fine as long as its not insane. Everything has a limit, as long as they don't take it over the top it's all guchi.

I think there's a fine line between possessive and protective. Any SO should look out for the partner and look out for their best interests. But said SO should always maintain a healthy sense of self-control and trust towards their partner, unless they find a legitimate reason to be distrusting of their partner. But at that point that's when both need to sit down and have a healthy discussion so that they can be able to resolve the issue(s) at hand. Any SO that's unhealthily possessive of their partner, whether it be out of jealousy, insecurity, etc., should take a step back, realize/understand what they're doing, and work to improve their habits if needed.

You want protective, I'm protective. You want to feel safe. Possessive? Not.Even.Once. No one is a thing to have or be with what ever or whenever. My wife knows shes mine from a relationship point, just as I know I'm hers from a relationship point. But, to command and demand attention? Ha! She knows that won't work and as do I. Never be jealous of what you already have.
