get away from any electronics and avoid eating, turn the fan/ac on, to keep the room cold.

I just keep the ceiling fan on, have about 5 to 7 blankets on me, one or two cats and then pass out.

Have you tried listening to ASMR? Personally it works for me. The simple videos where the person is just brushing the mic is enough to make me fall asleep within minutes. But then again, I know that ASMR isn't for everyone. ^_^
