Is there different types of Perverts in the world?

I've known several different types of perverts in my life (Both men and women), and the majority of which are harmless and understand what consent is. I generally stay away from the ones that don't. And honestly, I'd rather be around the people who know they are perverts and aren't afraid to admit it than the people who try to repress it, because... Look, I say this as a demisexual, so just because some people aren't overtly sexual, doesn't mean they're mentally messed up, but from my experience, the people who bottle it up and show nothing but shame towards it tend to feel... Off. And not in a good way.

I mean, as long as they aren't going overboard with the sexual stuff, I fail to see a problem with someone that's "perverted".

I see that it natural for someone to be perverted. Even if you don't admit it, there are few things that might arouse you more than others. I do agree with the fact that media/society view those that are more openly about their preferences, thrown into the spotlight only to be shunned upon. As you guys mentioned above, it should be leveled based.
