Geeks or Fitness?

Book nerd more. I'm not a sporty person so dating someone who wants to go out to jog/train constantly would not fit my lifestyle. If the person is average weight/few kg overweight and you move enough to maintain it (walk to work etc for examble) then that is enough. And if there's need to exersize then going together with same ideas of intensity would be perfect.

I guess if I had to pick one, I would have more in common with a book nerd and they might have more to talk about. That being said I don't think it is impossible to find athletic types who have one or two academic interests or a nerd that will at one point try to get into some sport.

The intellectual attraction might have a little bit higher priority for me compared to the physical appearance one, but I'm not 100% sure about that. Dating someone on either side of the spectrum would probably be a no-go though. I guess I took the book nerd example as an analogy for intellect and not necessarily education. Patience is definitely not one of my virtues, unfortunately. :/ But I wouldn't mind dating someone slightly below my visual standards if we had some sort of intellectual chemistry.

*shrug* Not much of a preference here, I see merits in both sides. I've always admired both intellectual and athletic types. All of the sporty girls I've known were hard working, but fun loving types who are really passionate about the sport they play. With me being more of an introvert and indoors type, they helped me break out of my shell and loosen up a bit. While the more booksmart types of course offer a more intellectually stimulating relationship which is right up my alley. But at the end of the day I can't really say I'd go for either of those qualities specifically 100% of the time.

I mean, it depends on how far down the spectrum either one is. Someone who is a super book nerd would be a turn off because those people love being real life grammar Nazi's. And a super sporty person only thinks about sports and pushes everything else out, I know this since I come from a sporty family despite finding sports generally boring myself. That being said, I'd still probably be drawn to a book nerd, but only a book nerd like this one. (For those who get the reference)

Who says those have to be mutually exclusive? I've seen more anime than 90% of the people on this site and I work out regularly to stay in shape.
