I am New and have no idea what is happening, is this title to long?

As for explaining the antics you will encounter in Random Chatter, there are a lot of forum games, casual conversations, joke topics, and gif wars going on here, so its mostly just crazy nerd stuff. If you are in the mood for more intellectual conversations, try Serious talk for thought provoking (And occasionally controversial) subject matter on the societal and human conditions. Likes and Dislikes as well as Relationship Advice tend to crossover a lot, but if talking about your feelings, interests, and challenges with depressions and anxieties are your thing, or if you just want to advise people on certain social skills they may have never acquired when groing up, head to those to places.
