If they've got a story to tell let them tell it. I doubt the majority of the women involved are making up stories. Even if the law can't assist them due to statute of limitations people should be aware of those who are dangerous. It may lend strength to people who are still within the statute of limitations to come forward as well. If they're lying then they should receive punishment for that. Anyone who tries to submit false rape/ sexual harassment allegations should be penalized for it.

Clearly you didn't read my comment. Innocent until proven guilty. If a company fires someone before allowing them to clear their name then thats on the company. There are ways for people to receive recompense for unlawful actions taken against them.

You can't be put on a black list for being accused of an action, you have to be found guilty. Stop making stuff up. You just want to argue that the metoo movement is harmful to men. You can counter sue for defamation of character.

It does give people a voice you're absolutely right. And yes people have bandwagoned the #MeToo movement, and I concede that there are people out there that take advantage of it and use it to hurt people who don't deserve it (though I never said people didn't abuse it), but I don't believe its the majority. However, women have been accusing men falsely of rape long before the #MeToo movement. The movement started with Harvey Weinstein and grew beyond that like anything the gains ground in the media. Yes, yes he did. And his arguments were terrible. As was his grammar...
