Super Smash Bros. 5!!!!

Since NO ONE is apparently talking about this, I made this for the topic of Super Smash Bros. 5 for Switch. What do you think they'll add? Who will be taken out and added to the roster? I'm hyped! I need to get a switch, I don't follow Nintendo enough to really say who they'll add but it'll sure be interesting. I main Kirby (no shame (^_-)) and thankfully I know he'll be in there lol. Looking forward to the release of smash 5 :). I'm curious to see if they'll have as many counters in this game, seemed like a lot of characters in the last smash could use counter attacks. Either way I'll be tuning into E3 this year for Nintendo. Hopefully this is a good year for video games (^^)b.

I'm pretty sure Kirby is gonna be in since he's a part of The Original 12, I'm hyped as well though!! I have character predictions and Inkling was actually one of them. XD

Going by the time frame of it, I'm willing to beat two things. Most likely its a Smash 4 Port to the Switch with a few added characters such as the Splatoon Kids and Ice Climbers or the other but unlikely option is they used the Smash 4 engine/program to make another Smash game without needing years of development time. I'd place my money on a Smash 4 Port + All DLC + A few new characters + A good chance they will add more character with more dlc to really beat the cash out of the fans + Probably one or two new game modes + Probably slightly improved Online layout/play + I'm sure they are going to really push the play smash anywhere now thing. With that being said I'm sure it'll be great, even if they did nothing but port smash 4 over it'd be nice to get to play it again without having to break out the Wii U so its exciting, I cant wait. Also did anyone else think this trailer was super dark, like I'm pretty sure those inklings are dead....

I'm placing my money on this being new. If it was a port wouldn't they just have shown a trailer of gameplay with added stuff like they did with Mario Kart 8 and Pokken? Also the logo is kinda new too, plus the website has nothing but the logo and trailer link now. And Sakurai kinda confirmed it on twitter stating that its "barely at the stage where we’ve only announced the title." Also the time frame doesn't really matter, Melee came out two years after Smash 64 this has a four year gap between Smash 4 and this one. Do I think it will use the same engine as Smash 4 tho? Most likely, but I do think Ice Climbers will come back too. Hopefully the Online will be kinda like Pokken's or better than it, they gotta make this as portable as Splatoon 2 and Pokken. And yeah its gotta be great, they always are (even Brawl even with its faults) and if it was a port I'd still buy it too my brains already cooking up character predictions. However we probably won't know anything til E3 in June. As for the trailer...it is safe to assume fried squid was served...those poor squid kids. XD

Some speculation floating around is that the Crash Bandicoot collection coming to Switch might get him in the game. There's also an animated Mario movie in production from the people who did Despicable Me so maybe the minions might appear. Or similarly the Rabbids from Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Still waiting for Simon Belmont.
