A.I.

So people, What's your thoughts on Artificial Intelligence? Think it will wipe us off the face of the planet from looking what we post on the internet? Or do you think it escalate humanities growth by infinite? Seeing as we can very easily have A.I. within the next fifty years. I thought this would be an interesting topic to discuss.

I think it is possible. First showcasing the capability of A.I with Mario learning machine in youtube. A.I able to become anomaly on A.I chat, which became really bad after feeding some bad influence and ideas. Production of robots, both humanoid and animal model. It could wipe us off, if we feed them bad information due to their high adaptability. It can save millions of lives by doing dangerous job for us. Such as medicare for infectious disease, saving people from disasters, fire and armed conflicts. It can also take away the jobs for many people.

I'm not sure they'll wipe us out, but they'll definitely put us out of work. Machines are easier to run, and much cheaper than human labour, so a lot of jobs will faze out over time. In a generation or two, once the current humans more comfortable being served by other humans are dead, high street stores will likely be run by AI. It'll be up to the government to decide whether it will give funds to keep people alive or let the lower classes die out. There will also be a drop in child birth, since many will likely opt for an AI partner they can buy from stores. Less advanced AI will likely be able to do all your chores, cook, and do whatever you want. With the ability to buy the perfect partner many people will likely take this option. Eventually AI will be able to program and improve on AI without humans, and at that point they will surpass us and become the dominant race. There's also the possibility we'll take a GITS direction and integrate with machines, becoming full bodied cyborgs.
