Any otaku in the military?

My friend Tony was in the military. He was infact Otaku. He met lots of otaku there. Think about out. To young Otaku without a lot of money, the military seems like a very tempting offer. It shouldn't be too hard to find friends with common interests.

I wish i could give you advice but my basic training is so weak if i were to try and cross over to another branch i would have to go through basic all over again....yet every branch can cross over into mine and not have to do basic :") Also idk why but the marines are treated like a step child amongst the other branches. We have joint bases but they have every branch but marines
